Michael Wilson had a passion for teaching students about the love of music and so much more. We met Mr. Wilson his first year as CHS's band director. When he was in the band room there was a buzz of excitement and the students knew they had a leader who cared and wanted to help them reach their highest potential. Mr. Wilson made an effort to meet each student and their parents and was open to ideas, suggestions, and had a "can-do" attitude. We only were with Mr. Wilson for one season before moving to Missouri. He instilled a love and passion for marching band in our daughter, which she carried with her while marching in college. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jan, Kaiden, and Eden during this difficult time. Michael Wilson has touched the hearts of countless people and his legacy lives on.
